Killing enemy ships is not an objective in a war.
You kill enemy ships for fun. The objective is to win the war and capital assembly POS killing is surely a step in winning the war.
BoB had fun / the coalition achieved their stated goal.

I am afraid I have to nit-pick your statement.
Yes the coalition did succeed in their intended objective.. at an horrendous cost. Is this a price they are willing, and more importantly, able to pay time and time again? We will see.
Anyway my response was to the blatant flamebait/smack/untrue statement about "Not being able to do anything about it" I say a large scale cap ship loss is certainly not nothing.
It would have taken an act of God to save the POS from that many attacking dreads. When I set out last night I did have a small seed of hope, but the pragmatist in me already knew it was a lost cause. After that I was simply speculating on the amount of enemy capitals that would go down and may I say it exceeded my wildest expectations.
